Two Popular Gundam 00 Gunpla Kits Get a Re-release

Bandai Hobby has announced the re-release of two popular model kits based on the Mobile Suit Gundam 00 series.

The “MG 1/100 Gundam Dynames (Trans-Am Mode) [Metallic Gloss Injection]” and the “MG 1/100 Trans-Am Raiser” are both set to be reissued.

Both of these mecha originate from the Celestial Being organization within Mobile Suit Gundam 00’s Anno Domini (AD) timeline.

The Trans-Am system is a specialized mode that releases highly compressed GN particles, temporarily boosting the mobile suit’s performance while bathing the armor in a glowing red hue.

To accurately recreate this activated state, Bandai has utilized specialized plastic molding techniques and unique decals for both model kits.

• MG 1/100 Gundam Dynames (Trans-Am Mode) [Metallic Gloss Injection]
  • Price: 5,500 yen (approx. £29 GBP / $35 USD).

The Gundam Dynames is a specialized long-range sniping unit famously piloted by Lockon Stratos during the first season of the anime.

This model kit utilizes gloss injection and metallic molding colors, complete with a GN Sniper Rifle, two GN Beam Pistols, and color-adjusted water-slide decals.

Builders can also install a separately sold LED unit to recreate the glowing state of the chest GN Drive.

• MG 1/100 Trans-Am Raiser
  • Price: 7,700 yen (approx. £40 GBP / $49 USD).

The 00 Raiser is a powerful combined form utilized by protagonist Setsuna F. Seiei, created by docking the 00 Gundam with the 0-Raiser support craft.

This kit features a red pearl gloss injection with pink clear lens parts, holographic seals, and matching dry decals.

It also includes GN Particle Condenser tanks to allow fans to build the specific 00 Raiser variant seen in the theatrical movie, alongside support for a red LED unit in the GN Drive.

Pre-orders are currently open via Premium Bandai, having officially launched on Monday, March 30, 2026.

Shipping for the MG 1/100 Gundam Dynames and the Trans-Am Raiser re-releases is scheduled to begin in July 2026.
