TRIGUN STAMPEDE’s Nicholas D. Wolfwood gets an affordable new figure from Kotobukiya

A new figure of the iconic priest Nicholas D. Wolfwood from TRIGUN STAMPEDE has been announced as the latest addition to Kotobukiya’s recently launched “OSHI WORKS” figure series.
TRIGUN STAMPEDE is the 2023 CG anime reboot of Yasuhiro Nightow’s classic Trigun manga.

The series, animated by Studio Orange, re-imagines the story of Vash the Stampede on the planet of No Man’s Land.

Nicholas D. Wolfwood is a major character in the series, a traveling priest who presents himself as an undertaker and is famed for wielding the massive, cross-shaped “Punisher” weapon.

This new figure is part of the “OSHI WORKS” line, which is based on the Japanese word “oshi” (meaning “favorite”).

The line is positioned as a wallet-friendly series perfect for new and seasoned collectors, emphasizing affordability while maintaining high-quality sculpting and paintwork.

A figure of TRIGUN STAMPEDE’s protagonist, Vash the Stampede, was one of the first figures to be made available for order in the relatively new figure line.

While most OSHI WORKS figures are non-scale, this 1/8 scale Wolfwood figure stands approximately 22 centimeters tall.

It is noted by Kotobukiya as being in the same scale as his “ARTFX J” counterpart, allowing fans to display this more affordable version alongside Kotobukiya’s premium, dynamically-posed ARTFX J line.

The figure, sculpted by THOUSAND INC., comes partially assembled and includes the line’s standardized square base, which the figure connects to using magnets.

The “Nicholas D. Wolfwood TRIGUN STAMPEDE OSHI WORKS” figure is priced at 8,800 yen (approx. $57.16 USD / £43.46 GBP).

Pre-orders are now open directly via Kotobukiya and their official international retail partners, such as HobbyLink Japan.
The figure is scheduled to be released in June 2026.
