Tokyo’s new ONE PIECE BASE SHOP offers fans a first look at some of its 500+ exclusive products
The Bandai Namco group has revealed full details for its upcoming official flagship store for the One Piece franchise, the “ONE PIECE BASE SHOP,” including a first look at its massive lineup of original merchandise.
This new “experiential retail facility” is designed to be more than just a store, offering fans a deep and interactive dive into the world of One Piece.
The interior of the store, which will occupy the entire 1,185-square-meter fourth floor of the Shinjuku Marui Main Building, will be designed to evoke the various islands that the protagonist Monkey D. Luffy has visited on his adventures.
The store will feature a number of unique, hands-on experiences.
The “ONE PIECE ORIGINAL T-SHIRT PRINT” corner will allow customers to create their own custom T-shirt on the spot, choosing from a library of over 400 characters and 1,000 different design combinations.
At the “ONE PIECE DECORATION STAND,” visitors can create their own original keyholders and accessories.
The “ONE PIECE PLAY GROVE” area will feature a giant Gashapon machine and a crane game area with exclusive prizes.
A special “ONE PIECE BASE SHOP Lottery” will also be held, where customers can win acrylic block charms featuring the birthdays of 366 different One Piece characters.
Each lottery entry will cost ¥1,000.
The store will also be offering every single page of the One Piece manga as B5/B4 size posters. The posters will be released in volume/chapter order.
A huge lineup of approximately 800 different items will be available at launch, with around 500 of them being new, original products exclusive to this store.

The “ONE PIECE BASE SHOP” is scheduled to have its grand opening on Friday, the 5th of December.
Due to the high demand expected, entry to the store will initially be restricted via a lottery-based pre-booking system, which will be handled via the official ONE PIECE BASE app.
