The ultimate alarm clock for Final Fantasy VII fans is getting a re-release
Square Enix is set to re-release a collection of unique lifestyle and home goods based on its popular Final Fantasy video game franchise, with a large digital clock shaped like the Buster Sword as its centerpiece.
This new wave of products consists of restocks of several previously popular items, all designed to integrate iconic elements from the games into everyday household objects.
Square Enix also recently re-released a range of Kingdom Hearts merchandise, which included several music boxes based on the series.
The most prominent item in this wave of Final Fantasy merchandise re-releases is the Final Fantasy VII Remake Digital Clock.
This product is a detailed recreation of the Buster Sword, the massive signature weapon wielded by the game’s protagonist, Cloud Strife.
The sword’s iconic design has made it one of the most recognizable weapons in video game history.
The digital clock is cleverly integrated into the hilt of the sword, which rests on a stand that allows it to be displayed on a desk or shelf.
It features a light-up Materia display and includes alarm functions, making it a functional timepiece as well as a striking display piece for fans of the game.
Another item from Final Fantasy VII Remake being re-released is a silicone ice tray, also in the shape of the Buster Sword.
This flexible tray allows users to create miniature, icy replicas of the famous sword to cool their drinks.
The restock also includes a pair of items based on the pixel art style of the mobile game Final Fantasy Record Keeper.
The “Pixelight” series are small, decorative room lights that feature characters rendered in a retro, 16-bit-style aesthetic.
One light features Cloud Strife, while the other depicts Terra Branford, the main character from Final Fantasy VI.
