The sold-out “NANA x nana nana” bag collection is getting a general retail release

A sold-out collaboration between Ai Yazawa’s legendary manga NANA and the bag brand “nana-nana” is set to get a general retail release.
This unique partnership, born from the shared name “Nana” and a mutual background in fashion and culture, is now set for an official Japanese release after a wildly successful pop-up event in Paris.

NANA is one of the most influential manga of the 2000s, telling the story of two young women, Nana Osaki and Nana Komatsu, who move to Tokyo to follow their dreams.

The series is a global phenomenon, beloved for its deep exploration of friendship, love, and its iconic punk-inspired fashion.
“nana-nana” is a Tokyo and Los Angeles-based accessory brand known for its experimental, art-focused, and minimal designs.

This new collection fuses the strong, emotional world of NANA with the artistic forms of “nana-nana,” resulting in a special lineup that transcends generations and genders.

The collaboration was first unveiled at a limited pop-up store in Paris from September 30th to October 5th.

The event drew large crowds and widespread interest, with some of the exclusive items selling out completely during the pop-up’s run.

Now, fans in Japan will have their chance to own the collection.
