Hatsune Miku Goes Mechanical for New METAL BUILD Premium Figure

Bandai Spirits has fully revealed a new action figure based on the world-famous virtual singer Hatsune Miku.
The upcoming “METAL BUILD Hatsune Miku” will be the very first female character to be introduced into the premium die-cast figure line.

Hatsune Miku originated as a Vocaloid software voicebank developed by Crypton Future Media and quickly evolved into a massive global pop culture phenomenon.

She has spent years performing sold-out holographic concerts around the world, inspiring countless artistic interpretations.

The METAL BUILD series is renowned for its high-end mecha releases, utilizing real metal parts to provide a satisfying weight and premium mechanical aesthetic.

Designers have carefully applied this signature styling to the beloved idol while maintaining her core charm and musical identity.

The highly articulated figure features a unique metallic design across her exposed back and various internal joints.

She is dressed in a meticulously crafted fabric outfit that allows for an incredibly wide range of dynamic movement without hindering her articulation.

Fans can easily pose the singer bending deeply forward or arching backward to capture energetic performance stances.

Her iconic twin tails are constructed from a specialized PVC sheet embedded with posable wire for flexible, gravity-defying displays.
The package includes a massive acoustic gadget that resembles a futuristic long rifle for striking combat-inspired poses.

Collectors can swap between four different facial expressions, including a standard look, a passionate singing face with closed eyes, and a playfully mischievous smile.

The set also comes packed with three pairs of interchangeable hands, alternate bangs featuring a delicate headdress, two different backpacks, and specialized right wrist armor.

Standing approximately 18 centimeters tall, the figure utilizes a combination of ABS plastic, PVC, and sturdy die-cast metal components.
A dedicated display pedestal is included to ensure the highly articulated model remains safely supported in any dynamic pose.

The “METAL BUILD Hatsune Miku” is priced at 36,300 yen (approx. £190 GBP / $241 USD).
General pre-orders will officially open at hobby shops and major retailers, such as HobbyLink Japan, on Friday, April 3, 2026.
The action figure is currently scheduled to begin shipping out to fans in October 2026.
