The Pokémon Center reveals its Magikarp themed 2026 Lucky Box

The lottery has officially opened for the Pokémon Center’s annual New Year’s lucky box.
Each year, the franchise’s official store releases the “Pika Pika Box,” which is styled after a traditional “fukubukuro” (lucky bag) containing a mystery assortment of Pokémon merchandise.

The boxes typically offer amazing value, with fans receiving goods far in excess of the amount paid.
They also normally include an exclusive item created specially for the occasion, with 2025’s box featuring either a Pikachu or Pawmi cushion.

The highlight of this year’s box is an exclusive “Magikarp Bag.”

Buyers will receive one of three random variations of the bag: a standard Male Magikarp, a Female Magikarp (distinguished by white whiskers), or a rare Golden Magikarp.

In addition to the bag, the box will contain several other random Pokémon goods, which can be expected to offer great value as normal.

This release caps off a massive month for Pokémon merchandise announcements.
Fans have recently seen the reveal of the antique-style “Eevee Collection,” a series of “Snowman Plush” figures, and a new line of analog tabletop games featuring Clodsire, Ditto, and more.

The “Pika Pika Box 2026” is priced at 4,400 yen (approx. $28.60 USD / £21.56 GBP).
The lottery application period runs from November 21 until November 27 at 16:59 (JST) exclusively via the Pokémon Center Online.
Winners are scheduled to be announced on December 3, with boxes shipping in late December.
