The first-ever exhibition dedicated to Evangelion’s Kaworu Nagisa has been announced

The first-ever official exhibition dedicated solely to the popular and enigmatic character Kaworu Nagisa from the Evangelion series has been announced.
The new event, titled “Evangelion Series 30th Anniversary – The Final Angel: A Kaworu Nagisa Exhibition,” is part of the ongoing celebration of the franchise’s three-decade history.

Kaworu Nagisa, also known as the “Final Angel,” is one of the most mysterious and impactful characters in the entire Evangelion saga, despite his relatively brief screen time in the original 1995 television series.
His complex relationship with the protagonist, Shinji Ikari, and his pivotal role in the story’s climax have made him a subject of fascination and a fan-favorite character for decades.

This new exhibition aims to explore the charm and depth of his character by showcasing materials from his appearances across the original TV series, the classic theatrical films, and the more recent Rebuild of Evangelion movie series.

The venue will feature displays of rare production materials and scenes.
It will also include the installation of special photo spots designed to recreate some of Kaworu’s most iconic moments from the anime.
Standee panels of the character will also be on display for visitors to see.

The exhibition is scheduled to be held in three different cities: Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto.
The Tokyo event will be held at the Space Galleria on the 8th floor of the Animate Ikebukuro Main Store.
The Osaka event will take place on the 3rd floor of the Animate Osaka Nipponbashi Annex.
The Kyoto event will be held on the 6th floor of the Kyoto Avanti shopping center.

Detailed ticketing information has been released for the Tokyo exhibition, which will run from Tuesday, the 16th of September, to Monday, the 13th of October.
Advance tickets will be sold for ¥2,000, while same-day tickets purchased at the venue will be ¥2,200.
Two types of advance tickets will be available: a “Date-Specific Ticket” for the crowded opening weekend, and a “Period-Valid Ticket” which can be used on any day after the opening weekend.
A special, ticket-holder exclusive piece of merchandise can also be purchased via a “Goods Voucher” for ¥2,500.

This voucher can be redeemed for one of two different exclusive card cases, one themed after the original TV series and the other after the Rebuild of Evangelion films.
The advance ticket sales period for the Tokyo exhibition is scheduled to run from Saturday, the 16th of August, to Thursday, the 11th of September via ePlus.
