The Day I Became A Bird Launches April 16 on PS5, Switch,aAnd PC

Numskull Games and Hyper Luminal Games have announced that the narrative adventure title The Day I Became a Bird is scheduled to launch on April 16, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
Based on the acclaimed storybook by French author Ingrid Chabbert and Spanish illustrator Guridi, the game follows the journey of a young boy named Frank who develops a crush on a bird-loving classmate named Sylvia.
The standard digital edition will be available for $19.99, while a special Feathered Adventurer Edition priced at $24.49 includes the base game, an animated short film by PASSION Animation, a digital art book, and the original soundtrack.
The gameplay experience prioritizes emotional resonance and artistic atmosphere over traditional high-pressure mechanics, featuring a hand-crafted illustrative aesthetic and light puzzle-solving elements.
According to the developers, the project aims to capture the delicate feelings of first love and vulnerability through a interactive format that feels like stepping inside a picture book.
The title draws on the combined expertise of Hyper Luminal Games in heartfelt storytelling and PASSION Animation’s history with animated shorts to create a warm and welcoming experience for players of all ages.
