The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten Season 2 Trailer Features Masayoshi Ōishi Opening Theme

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Saekisan’s light novel series The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten has released the main trailer for its upcoming second season.
The new promotional video features a preview of the opening theme song titled Kimi wa Koibito which is performed by artist Masayoshi Ōishi.

Fans can expect the second season to premiere on April 3, 2026, on the Tokyo MX channel at 10:30 p.m. JST.

Additional broadcasts are scheduled for BS NTV on April 4, 2026, while streaming services ABEMA and d Anime Store will also provide simultaneous access to the episodes.
The returning voice cast includes Taito Ban as Amane Fujimiya and Manaka Iwami as Mahiru Shiina along with Taku Yashiro and Haruka Shiraishi.

Chihiro Kumano is taking over directing duties at animation studio project No.9 for this new installment of the romantic comedy series.
Key staff members returning to the production include series script supervisor Keiichirō Ōchi and character designer Takayuki Noguchi.
Moe Hyūga is also confirmed to return to compose the musical score for the second season.

The first season of the popular series originally debuted in January 2023 and was reached by international audiences via the Crunchyroll streaming platform.

The story follows the developing relationship between Amane and his neighbor Mahiru after a chance encounter on a rainy day leads to her helping him with household chores.
The original light novels began serialization in 2018 and have since expanded into a manga adaptation published by Square Enix.
