Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Empire City Sets April Release Date

Publisher Beyond Frames Entertainment and developer Cortopia Studios have announced that the virtual reality action adventure game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Empire City will launch on April 30, 2026.

The upcoming title is set to release for both SteamVR and Meta Quest platforms, offering a first-person perspective inside the shell of the iconic heroes.

Set in the aftermath of the Shredder’s demise, the story follows the four turtle brothers as they fight to reclaim New York City from the tightening grip of the Foot Clan.

Players can choose to play solo or join up to three friends in a four player cooperative mode to take on the roles of Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo.

The gameplay features the ability to master signature weapons with precision strikes and blocks while navigating urban landscapes using fluid parkour mechanics.

Donnie’s workbench will serve as a hub for players to grab new gear and equip various gadgets and upgrades to customize their loadouts for battle.

As the first VR entry in the franchise to feature this perspective, the game allows fans to confront various villains while stalking the sewers, streets, and rooftops of the city.

The announcement on April 2, 2026, was accompanied by a new trailer showcasing the high-energy combat and cooperative features of the project.
