SuperGroupies reveals new NieR:Automata apparel and merch
SuperGroupies has revealed three new items joining its NieR:Automata merchandise line, with pre-orders now open for the collection.
The new additions include a jacket inspired by the YoRHa combat units and two different types of bags.
NieR:Automata is a critically acclaimed action RPG developed by PlatinumGames and published by Square Enix, known for its deep plot, philosophical themes, and distinctive aesthetic, particularly its YoRHa android characters.
SuperGroupies specializes in fashion items and accessories inspired by anime, manga, and video games, often releasing merchandise that subtly incorporates elements from the source material into everyday wear.
These new products are being launched to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the NieR franchise, a significant milestone for the series.
NieR is holding a number of collaborative events for its anniversary year, including an in-game event as part of a team up with popular mobile game, Goddess of Victory: Nikke.
While real-life product photographs are not yet available, SuperGroupies has released concept art and pricing for all three pieces, providing an initial look at their designs.
The “YoRHa Unit Model Jacket” is the most expensive item in the collection, priced at ¥25,300 on the Japanese SuperGroupies website, or $299.99 USD on their US website.
This unisex coat will be available in sizes ranging from medium to XXL, offering an inclusive range of sizes.
Next is the “YoRHa Unit Model 2way Tote Bag,” which costs ¥20,900/$249.99 USD.
The bag can be carried using either its handles or a longer shoulder strap, offering versatility for everyday use.
Finally, the “Resistance Model Pouch” is the most affordable item at ¥6,050/$71.99 USD.
The pouch is designed to look like the Quality Sachet item found in the game, which allows the player to use boars and moose as mounts without the need for Animal Bait.
The actual real-life pouch doesn’t emit a scent, so it’s probably not recommended to try riding any animals whilst using it.
All three items are expected to launch in early December 2025.
Pre-orders are currently open through both the SuperGroupies Japanese store and their US store.
