Super Sonico Hits the Gym for Her Latest Scale Figure

Solarain has officially opened pre-orders for a new figure based on Super Sonico, giving Nitro+’s iconic mascot a fresh workout-inspired look.

Originally created by artist Santa Tsuji as Nitro+’s mascot character, Super Sonico quickly grew beyond her origins to become one of the company’s most recognizable faces through music, manga, games and other multimedia projects, with her story following a college student balancing everyday life while pursuing her dream of becoming a professional musician as the vocalist and guitarist of the band First Astronomical Velocity.

The new “Super Sonico Exercise Ver.” 1/6 scale figure depicts Sonico after finishing a workout, capturing a relaxed moment as she walks barefoot while carrying her training shoes in one hand.

Her sporty outfit combines a cropped pink hoodie with a black sports bra and form-fitting leggings, while the sculpt carefully recreates the natural contours of her physique to give the figure a realistic sense of movement and athleticism.

Sonico’s gentle smile, signature pink hair and instantly recognizable headphones complete the look, creating a figure that balances her energetic personality with a more casual everyday appearance.

Standing approximately 27 cm tall, the figure has been expertly sculpted to accentuate her exercise toned figure whilst still retaining Sonico’s slightly shy personality.

As an added bonus, first-run editions will also include an exclusive “Super Sonico Exercise Ver.” collector’s card.

The “Super Sonico Exercise Ver.” 1/6 scale figure is priced at ¥26,400 (approx. $180 USD / £132 GBP) and is now available to pre-order from reputable hobby goods retailers such as HobbyLink Japan.

The figure is currently scheduled for release in May 2027.
