Street Fighter 6 Adds Final Fantasy's Tifa and Three Other New Fighters in Year 4 DLC

Capcom has officially unveiled the fourth year of downloadable content for Street Fighter 6, confirming four additional fighters who will join the roster over the coming year.

The new wave of content is built around the theme of Unbridled Strength and introduces a mix of original characters, a returning story figure, and a high-profile guest combatant.

The Year 4 lineup consists of newcomer Yasmine, newcomer Arjun, Final Fantasy VII Remake series character Tifa, and World Tour protagonist Bosch.

Yasmine is scheduled to arrive during Summer 2026 and represents the Philippines in the tournament.

Her story centers on a quest to locate her missing older brother, whom she has been searching for over an extended period.

Although she is generally reserved and kind-hearted, she displays remarkable confidence in battle and relies on a crescent-shaped karambit to overwhelm opponents with swift and agile movements.

Her fighting style was passed down through lessons from her grandfather, allowing her to weave around enemies with impressive speed and precision.

Arjun will follow in Autumn 2026 and brings a unique combat approach that combines yogic breathing techniques with hand-to-hand combat.

His extraordinary lung capacity allows him to channel explosive bursts of power through a fighting method known as Bare-knuckle Yoga.

Before becoming a fugitive, Arjun worked as a police officer in India.

His life changed dramatically after he was accused of murdering a fellow officer, forcing him to flee while attempting to uncover the person truly responsible for the crime.

One of the most notable additions to the pass is Tifa, who is planned for release in early 2027.

Known to fans of the Final Fantasy VII series, Tifa is a master of Zangan-ryu Martial Arts and an active member of the resistance organization AVALANCHE.

Her Street Fighter 6 storyline sees her unexpectedly transported into a different world during her travels, where she encounters a new cast of warriors and forms new relationships.

Tifa specializes in close-range combat and combines her martial arts expertise with special powers referred to as Abilities.

The final Year 4 character is Bosch, who is expected to arrive in Spring 2027.

Bosch left his homeland of Nayshall in pursuit of a deeper understanding of true strength and ultimately emerged victorious in the nation’s sacred martial arts competition.

His journey later brought him to Metro City, where he trained under Luke and blended contemporary fighting techniques with the traditional combat methods associated with Nayshall’s warrior culture.

Capcom revealed the full character lineup through a newly released trailer showcasing the upcoming fighters and their arrival windows.
