Starbucks Japan adds new mango Frappuccino and soda to summer menu

Starbucks Japan’s newest seasonal menu items have been revealed as a pair of Asian beach resort inspired mango drinks.
The new drinks form the second wave of Starbucks Japan’s summer seasonal menu, based around the concept of “HOTEL STARBUCKS”.
The first phase of the “HOTEL STARBUCKS” summer campaign, which launched in early April, featured “THE Strawberry Frappuccino” and was inspired by luxury hotel bars.

The newest “HOTEL STARBUCKS” offerings include an exotic new Frappuccino and a refreshing new soda flavor which are both designed to evoke the ambiance of a high-end Asian beach resort.
Headlining the next batch of summer menu additions is the “Oriental Mango & Tea Frappuccino®”.
This tropical drink features a generous base of rich mango pulp, ensuring a burst of juicy mango flavor from the very first sip.

The main body of the drink is a unique blend of subtly fragrant jasmine tea and soy milk, offering a refreshing and elegant taste profile as the mango combines with the aromatic notes of jasmine with the natural sweetness of soy milk.
To complete the luxurious experience, the Frappuccino is crowned with a dollop of whipped cream and a generous drizzle of rich mango sauce.
The “Oriental Mango & Tea Frappuccino®” will be available in Tall size only, priced at 707 yen for takeaway and 720 yen for in-store dining (all prices include tax).
In addition to the Frappuccino, Starbucks Japan is expanding its “Chillax Soda” line with a new flavor: “Chillax Soda Mango”.

The “Chillax Soda” concept was first introduced in late April with Strawberry and Yuzu Citrus flavors and aims to offer a “fragrant soda that makes you feel lighter” while encouraging relaxation and mental ease.

The “Chillax Soda Mango” combines rich mango pulp with effervescent carbonation and a complex citrus aroma.
It features a blend of mellow mango sweetness with a “green citrus flavored syrup” composed of over ten distinct flavors including lemon, lime, grapefruit, and mint.
This combination promises a refreshing fusion of sweet mango and soft citrus notes.
Starbucks is also introducing a new customization option for the “Chillax Soda” series: customers can now opt to replace the soda base with either black tea or passion fruit tea at no additional cost.

This customization allows for a different, tea-infused refreshing taste, providing a less carbonated alternative that still delivers the rich mango flavor.
The “Chillax Soda Mango” will be available in Tall (579 yen takeaway / 590 yen in-store) and Grande sizes (624 yen takeaway / 635 yen in-store)
Both new drinks will be available from May 28th to July 8th at the majority of Starbucks locations across Japan.
