Star-Studded Love Live! Tribute Album Features Ado, Hatsune Miku, and Uma Musume
A new musical collection has been released that celebrates a decade and a half of the multimedia franchise “Love Live!”.
The “LoveLive! Series 15th Anniversary Tribute Album” features a star-studded lineup of 11 different artists and intellectual properties crossing corporate boundaries to cover iconic songs from the series.
The Love Live! project, which follows high school girls achieving their dreams as “school idols,” has grown from its original 2010 launch into a massive empire including Sunshine!!, Nijigasaki, Superstar!!, and Hasunosora.
This release is notable for gathering franchises that are often considered market rivals in the character-song industry.
The tracklist features contributions from The IDOLM@STER (765PRO Allstars), BanG Dream! (Poppin’Party), and Uma Musume Pretty Derby.
A standout inclusion that has generated significant buzz on social media is the reunion of the Lucky Star cast, marking a rare return for the classic Kyoto Animation quartet.
Other notable tracks include Vocaloid pioneer Hatsune Miku singing “Fly with You!!” and chart-topping singer Ado performing “soldier game.”
