Square Enix reveals huge new plush of Dragon Quest Walk’s Slamichi

Square Enix is now selling a massive plush toy featuring the mascot character from their popular location-based mobile game, Dragon Quest Walk.
Launched in 2019, Dragon Quest Walk combines the classic turn-based RPG gameplay of the legendary Dragon Quest franchise with real-world walking mechanics.

Players physically walk around their neighborhoods to battle monsters, complete quests, and collect souvenirs.
Guiding them on this journey is Slamichi, a unique slime character who wears a magical compass around his neck and serves as the player’s navigator and companion.

The new “Dragon Quest Walk Plush Slamichi XL” brings this digital companion into the real world with an impressive width of approximately 57 centimeters.
Square Enix has paid close attention to detail, faithfully reproducing the character’s silhouette, facial balance, and his signature compass accessory.

The standout feature of this release is the inclusion of a dedicated carrying belt.
This allows owners to strap the giant plush to their backs and walk around, effectively recreating the feeling of adventuring with Slamichi just like in the game.

This release continues a trend of high-quality merchandise from Square Enix’s major franchises.
It joins the recently announced Kingdom Hearts II Formism Roxas figure, offering fans of the publisher’s RPGs another premium collectible option.

The “Dragon Quest Walk Plush Slamichi XL” is currently available for purchase on the Square Enix e-STORE.
It is priced at 19,800 yen (approx. $135.00 USD / £105.00 GBP).
