Square Enix opens pre-orders for a new cup shaped like NieR’s Emil

Two new pieces of merchandise have been announced for the popular NieR video game series by Square Enix.
The new products are a multi-purpose cup shaped like the head of the character Emil, and a new mini plushie of the android A2.

Emil is one of the most iconic and tragic characters from the NieR franchise, a gentle boy who is transformed into a skeletal being with a haunting, fixed smile.

This new “multi-cup” is a three-dimensional, ceramic recreation of his unforgettable face, suitable for holding drinks or for other household uses.

A new mini plushie of the character A2 from the hit sequel NieR:Automata has also been announced.

A2 is the prototype “A-Type” YoRHa android, a solitary and powerful character who is a key part of the game’s story.

This new product brings her to life in a cute, stylized, and palm-sized plush form.

Alongside this new release, a restock has also been confirmed for the previously sold-out mini plushies of the other two main protagonists from NieR:Automata.

The popular mini plushies of the characters 2B and 9S will be re-released at the same time as the new A2, allowing fans to finally complete the trio.

The “NieR Replicant ver.1.22… Emil Multi-Cup” is priced at ¥3,300 (approx. $22 USD/£17 GBP) and is scheduled to be released on the 27th of December.
The “NieR:Automata Mini Plushie – A2,” along with the re-released 2B and 9S plushies, are priced at ¥3,080 (approx. $21 USD/£15 GBP) each and are scheduled to be released on the 17th of January, 2026.
The new products are currently available for pre-order on the official Square Enix e-STORE.
