Square Enix Announces Limited Edition FFTCG Final Fantasy X 25th Anniversary Set

Square Enix has officially revealed a new premium card set for the Final Fantasy TCG, created to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Final Fantasy X.
Final Fantasy X marked its 25th anniversary on July 19, 2026, with the game following Tidus and summoner Yuna as they travel across Spira in search of a way to defeat the colossal creature known as Sin.

The Final Fantasy Trading Card Game brings characters, monsters and summons from across the wider franchise into a strategic two-player card game, with the new collection focusing entirely on Final Fantasy X and its central party.
The “Final Fantasy Trading Card Game Special Collection Final Fantasy X” contains 13 specially selected cards, combining popular previous releases with two high-rarity cards from the upcoming Blissful Eternity booster set.

Every included card receives a special foil treatment, while the English card text uses an Al Bhed-inspired presentation that gives the collection an additional connection to the language and culture found throughout Spira.
The centerpiece is PR-111 Yuna & Tidus, which features a foil-stamped reproduction of character designer Tetsuya Nomura’s signature and brings the game’s two leads together on a single card.

The collection also includes the 1-177R Yuna and 22-122L Tidus cards featuring artwork from the Final Fantasy X 25th anniversary key visual, which was illustrated by Nomura for the celebration.
Additional cards carrying Nomura’s foil-stamped signature include 1-001H Auron, 1-089H Rikku, 1-102H Kimahri, 1-149H Lulu, 1-176H Yuna and 1-180R Wakka, bringing almost the entire main party into the anniversary set.

Three further Tidus cards complete the Nomura selection, including 1-213S Tidus and 16-139S Tidus alongside the character’s anniversary key visual card.
The remaining two cards are 29-110C Yuna and 29-105L Tidus from Blissful Eternity, with both featuring signature treatments from Final Fantasy Trading Card Game artist Yukihiro Kajimoto.

Blissful Eternity places a particular emphasis on Tidus and Final Fantasy X as part of the anniversary celebrations, with the booster set currently scheduled to launch in Japan on August 7, 2026.
By combining older fan-favorite cards, anniversary artwork, and high-rarity cards from an upcoming expansion, the collection is positioned as a display-focused release for longtime Final Fantasy X fans as well as dedicated FFTCG collectors.

The “Final Fantasy Trading Card Game Special Collection Final Fantasy X” is priced at ¥11,000 (approx. $69 USD / £52 GBP), with pre-orders now open via a variety of retailers in Japan.
The collection is currently scheduled for release during December 2026, with no confirmation as yet of a wider international release.
