Spalding’s new ONE PIECE basketball collab is now on sale

The previously announced collaboration between the American sporting goods brand Spalding and the popular anime series, One Piece, has recently gone on sale.

Spalding is a company with a long association with the sport of basketball, and this new collection merges its athletic equipment with the adventurous world of the Straw Hat Pirates.

One Piece, based on the manga by Eiichiro Oda, is one of the most successful entertainment franchises in the world, telling the long-running story of Monkey D. Luffy’s quest to become the King of the Pirates.

This collaboration isn’t the first time One Piece has been involved with basketball, as the LA Lakers held a special One Piece game night in February 2025.

The new product line is heavily inspired by the “Devil Fruits”, mystical fruits that grant superhuman powers to those who eat them, as well as iconic characters and moments from the series.

The collection features items themed after the powers of key characters like the protagonist Luffy, his sworn brother Ace, and the crew’s doctor, Tony Tony Chopper.

A wide range of basketballs, bags, apparel, and accessories are included in the launch.
