Snow Miku x Kuromi Collab Returns for 2026 With New Merch Collection

A new regional character collaboration has been revealed that celebrates the winter season of Hokkaido.
The 2026 “Snow Miku x Kuromi” collection pairs the mascot of Sapporo’s winter with Sanrio’s popular mischievous rabbit in a series of exclusive merchandise.

Snow Miku is a version of the virtual singer Hatsune Miku characterized by blue and white colors, originally created to enliven the Sapporo Snow Festival.
Last year, Snow Miku teamed up with both My Melody and Kuromi to release a wide range of merchandise.

For this year’s partnership, Snow Miku is joined solely by Kuromi, the rival of My Melody, who has experienced a massive surge in popularity in recent years due to her rebellious yet cute image.
The promotional campaign features newly commissioned artwork by the illustrator Misumi.

Snow Miku, her pet Rabbit Yukine, and Kuromi are depicted wearing matching coordinated outfits.

The fashion design incorporates elements of “Jirai-kei” (Landmine-type) aesthetics, accented with fluffy outerwear and earmuffs to reflect the cold climate of Northern Japan.

The merchandise lineup is divided into two distinct visual themes to represent the passing of time during a winter day.

The “Day” version utilizes a pale blue color palette to create a light and airy atmosphere, while the “Night” version features imagery of illuminations to evoke a fantastical evening mood.
