Skins Revealed for Overwatch x NieR:Automata Collab

Blizzard Entertainment has launched an exciting new crossover between the hit team-based shooter Overwatch and the popular action role-playing game NieR:Automata.
The limited-time “Project YoRHa” collaboration brings the hauntingly beautiful aesthetic of the Square Enix title to the colorful multiplayer world.
Overwatch is a widely celebrated competitive multiplayer game where teams of unique heroes clash in fast-paced objective-based matches.

NieR:Automata is a critically acclaimed video game that follows the journey of combat androids fighting to reclaim a ruined Earth from powerful machine lifeforms.

The Square Enix title originally launched to massive success, receiving praise for its incredible soundtrack, fast-paced combat, and deeply emotional narrative.
This unique partnership allows players to outfit their favorite roster members with stunning cosmetics inspired by the beloved action game.

A total of five iconic characters from the RPG are featured as brand new hero skins during this event:
- 2B Kiriko

This skin dresses the agile support hero in the signature black combat dress and visor of the YoRHa combat android.

- 9S Wuyan

The scanner android’s recognizable uniform and goggles are perfectly adapted for this character.

- A2 Vendetta

This cosmetic captures the battle-worn appearance and striking long hair of the rogue YoRHa prototype.

- Commander White Mercy

The angelic support character takes on the authoritative presence of the YoRHa military leader, complete with her crisp white uniform.

- Adam Lifeweaver

The elegant support hero receives a cosmetic inspired by the enigmatic machine network leader.

Players logging into the game can also admire special concept illustrations created by renowned artists Kimihiko Fujisaka and Kazuma Koda on the main lobby screen.
The event even extends into the gameplay arenas, with the stone statues usually found across the “Blizzard World” map being temporarily replaced by adorable Machine Lifeforms.
This special crossover event kicked off in the game on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.
Fans only have a short window to secure these cosmetics, as the skins will be available for purchase until Tuesday, March 24, 2026.
