Shinji, Asuka, Rei and Kaworu Inspire Four New Official Evangelion Jewelry Collections

The iconic sci-fi anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion is teaming up with the fashion brand MAYLA for four new elegant collections of themed jewelry.
The new “Neon Genesis Evangelion Iconic Story Ring Object” collection is a range of stylish accessories inspired by four different Eva pilots.

MAYLA has crafted these accessories to perfectly translate the show’s aesthetic into high fashion, incorporating recognizable elements of each character and themes from the wider series into each piece of jewelry.

Originally broadcast in 1995, Neon Genesis Evangelion follows a group of fourteen-year-olds tasked with piloting massive biomechanical weapons to protect humanity from mysterious enemies known as Angels.

The groundbreaking story became a massive social phenomenon around the world thanks to its deep psychological themes and complex characters.
Its enduring popularity has led to various adaptations, including the highly successful Rebuild film tetralogy that sought to bring the saga to a close.

A completely new animated project was recently during the EVANGELION: 30+ 30th Anniversary festival, keeping excitement incredibly high for the classic property.

This upcoming series is set to be directed by Yoko Taro, the visionary video game director and scenario writer best known for his unconventional storytelling and complex characters in the critically acclaimed NieR and Drakengard series.
The new jewelry lineup features four unique sets, each packed with intricate motifs based on the respective characters and their Evangelion units:
- Shinji Ikari

This set includes rings inspired by Unit-01, the Third Angel Sachiel, and the pilot’s signature SDAT music player.

- Rei Ayanami

The Rei-themed designs feature motifs based on Unit-00 alongside the recognizable L.C.L. fluid.

- Asuka Langley Soryu

This variant incorporates decorations evoking Unit-02 and the defensive A.T. Field.

- Kaworu Nagisa

This edition is beautifully adorned with engravings of the opening sheet music to Symphony No. 9.

Each beautiful set is packaged in an exclusive original box that perfectly captures the aesthetic of the series.

The gorgeous collections also include a luxurious gold frame, allowing buyers to display the rings like a stunning piece of fine art when they are not being worn.

The “Neon Genesis Evangelion Iconic Story Ring Object” sets are priced at 24,200 yen (approx. $155 USD / £124 GBP) each.
Pre-orders are now open and can be placed via the official MAYLA online store.
