Shanks Teased as One Piece's Next Marineford Arc S.H.Figuarts Figure

TAMASHII NATIONS has teased the next addition to its popular S.H.Figuarts action figure line, with a new release based on One Piece’s unforgettable Marineford Arc now officially in development.

Although only a silhouette has been revealed so far, the teaser has already sparked widespread excitement among collectors eagerly awaiting the full announcement.

One Piece follows Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates as they search for the legendary treasure known as the One Piece while sailing across the Grand Line and facing some of the world’s most powerful pirates, marines and governments.

The Marineford Arc remains one of the most significant storylines in the series, bringing together the Navy, the Seven Warlords of the Sea and Whitebeard’s pirate fleet in a battle that permanently reshaped the world of One Piece.

Based on the outline released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the mysterious new figure strongly appears to depict “Red-Haired” Shanks, one of the Four Emperors and one of the franchise’s most iconic characters.

Shanks arrived during the closing moments of the Marineford War and immediately changed the course of the conflict with one of the series’ most memorable entrances.

After effortlessly stopping Fleet Admiral Akainu’s attack before it could strike Koby, Shanks brought the fighting to a standstill after issuing an ultimatum to the Marines, effectively ending the war.

The silhouette suggests that this release will portray Shanks in his Marineford appearance, giving collectors a figure inspired by one of the character’s defining moments in the anime.

Many fans are also hoping the upcoming release will feature a more imposing and muscular sculpt than the previously released S.H.Figuarts “Shanks & Monkey D. Luffy (Childhood)” figure set.

For now, TAMASHII NATIONS has yet to reveal the finished product, leaving collectors to speculate about the figure’s accessories, articulation and overall design until the official unveiling takes place.
