SEGA Teams Up With Seiko for Exclusive 65th Anniversary Watch

A new collaboration timepiece has been announced to celebrate a major milestone for one of the video game industry’s most iconic companies.
The “SEGA 65th Anniversary SEIKO Collaboration Model” sees the gaming giant team up with the renowned Japanese watchmaker Seiko.

SEGA is currently celebrating its 65th anniversary, marking over six decades of contribution to arcade and home console entertainment.
Known for iconic hardware like the Mega Drive and Dreamcast, as well as franchises such as Sonic the Hedgehog and Yakuza, the company has left a lasting impact on gaming culture.

This new chronograph is designed to reflect that history, incorporating the famous SEGA font for the hour markers/indices.
The dial features the company logo at the 3 o’clock position, while a silhouette of Sonic the Hedgehog adorns the sub-dial at the 6 o’clock position.

The case back is marked with the 65th-anniversary logo and a unique serial number.

The watch comes in a special box featuring the company’s mission statement, “Empower the Gamers,” printed on the inside of the lid.

Two different colour variations are available, allowing fans to choose between a sleek black dial or a classic silver finish.
Let’s take a look at both of the new models in more detail!
