SEGA releases new “Luminasta” figure of Demon Slayer’s Shinobu Kocho

A new prize figure from SEGA has been released, featuring Shinobu Kocho from the popular anime series, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.
The new Shinobu figure is part of SEGA’s “Luminasta” line of high-quality prize figures.

The Luminasta brand is known for its focus on dynamic posing, detailed sculpting, and the inclusion of impressive, often translucent, effect parts that add to the figure’s sense of action and atmosphere.
Shinobu Kocho is the Insect Hashira, one of the highest-ranking and most powerful swordmasters in the Demon Slayer Corps.

Her character is defined by her graceful and elegant demeanor, which masks a deep-seated rage towards demons.
Due to her small stature, she employs a unique fighting style that relies on incredible speed and a self-developed poison, which she injects into her opponents using her thin, stinger-like Nichirin sword.

This new figure is designed to capture the essence of her Insect Breathing techniques.
The sculpt features Shinobu in a dynamic, mid-air pose that gives the figure a sense of weightlessness and captures her elegant movement in battle.

The figure stands at approximately 18 centimeters (around 7 inches) tall, and it faithfully recreates the unique shape of her specialized sword.
It is accompanied by a large, beautifully sculpted, clear-effect part that adds to the overall presentation.

As a “prize figure,” this item is primarily available to be won in crane games at amusement centers/arcades.
The “Luminasta Shinobu Kocho” figure can currently be won at most major arcade/amusement center chains across Japan.

It should be available from hobby goods stores internationally around September/October, as many prize figures now receive a general sale release outside of Japan around 1-2 months after the initial arcade/prize release
