SEGA opens orders for new high-end Captain Majima statue based on Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii
A new 1/7 scale figure has been announced for the fan-favorite character Goro Majima, based on his appearance in the spin-off game Like a Dragon 8 Gaiden: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii.
The new product is from S-FIRE, which is Sega’s own “highest-grade” hobby brand.
S-FIRE is a line of premium, high-quality figures that are known for their exceptional level of detail.
Goro Majima is one of the most popular and beloved characters in the long-running Like a Dragon franchise, famous for his wild and unpredictable “Mad Dog of Shimano” persona.
This new, pre-painted, complete figure depicts him in his pirate costume from the spin-off game, where he is known as “Captain Majima.”
The statue has been created under the full and direct supervision of the “Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio,” the developers of the game series.
It features a high level of detail, with a focus on a realistic sculpt of Majima’s muscular physique and the various textures of his ornate pirate outfit.
The sculpt is designed to capture the character’s fearless and determined personality with a bold and intimidating pose and expression.
This new release offers fans of the series a high-end, definitive collectible of the unique, pirate-themed version of the iconic character.
The “Like a Dragon 8 Gaiden: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii Figure – Captain Majima (Goro Majima)” is priced at ¥22,000 (approx. $150 USD/£110 GBP).
Pre-orders for the new figure began on Monday, the 6th of October, on the official S-FIRE website and at other hobby goods retailers.
The pre-order period is scheduled to run until the 1st of December, and the figure is scheduled to be shipped to customers in September 2026.
