SEGA Announces Opening Date and Location for New SEGA STORE OSAKA
SEGA has officially confirmed when and where fans will be able to visit SEGA STORE OSAKA, with the company’s second permanent Japanese retail location set to open this October.
SEGA STORE locations are official retail destinations dedicated to merchandise from across SEGA and ATLUS’ biggest franchises, giving fans year-round access to collectibles inspired by series including Sonic the Hedgehog, Like a Dragon, Persona and many more outside of limited-time events and game launches.
The new store will become the first permanent SEGA STORE in Japan’s Kansai region, marking another major step in the company’s expanding network of dedicated retail locations.
Osaka previously hosted a temporary SEGA merchandise pop-up at Shinsaibashi PARCO in 2024, but this new location will become the city’s first permanent official SEGA STORE.
The announcement follows last week’s teaser reveal, which confirmed that a new Osaka store was on the way but left fans waiting for details on exactly where it would be located and when the doors would finally open.
SEGA has now confirmed that SEGA STORE OSAKA will be located on the sixth floor of Shinsaibashi PARCO, placing it in one of Osaka’s busiest shopping destinations and a popular stop for anime, gaming and pop culture fans visiting the city.
Like the existing SEGA STORE TOKYO, the Osaka location will stock a wide selection of merchandise based on SEGA and ATLUS properties, while also introducing exclusive products created specifically for the new store.
The Tokyo flagship store opened in July 2025 with more than 800 products spanning numerous franchises, while SEGA’s wider retail expansion has also seen permanent stores established in Shanghai and Beijing, each featuring regional exclusives and unique attractions.
Although the full product lineup for SEGA STORE OSAKA has not yet been revealed, SEGA says visitors can expect a broad selection of merchandise celebrating the company’s more than 65-year history, alongside Osaka-exclusive items designed especially for the location.
SEGA STORE OSAKA is scheduled to officially open on October 2, 2026, on the sixth floor of Shinsaibashi PARCO in Osaka.
