Sanrio releases “magical” new range of crane game prizes

Sanrio is set to release an enchanting new line of exclusive prizes for amusement arcades across Japan.

The “Sanrio Characters Magical Ribbon” series will feature fan-favorite characters dressed in charming, matching sailor uniform outfits, complete with ribbon wands.

Amusement facilities, often filled with crane games (UFO catchers) and other arcade machines, are a popular destination in Japan for winning exclusive character merchandise.

Sanrio frequently collaborates with prize manufacturers to create unique items, making these arcade visits an exciting treasure hunt for collectors.

The “Sanrio Characters Magical Ribbon” collection will be released in two waves throughout June 2025, offering a continuous stream of new items for players to try and win.

The new prizes will feature popular Sanrio characters, including Cinnamoroll, Pompompurin, Kuromi, Hello Kitty, and Little Twin Stars.

First Wave
