Pre-registration starts for new JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure mobile game

gumi has announced a new mobile game titled JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Oraora Overdrive, with pre-registration now open.
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is a long-running Japanese manga and anime franchise known for its unique art style, supernatural “Stand” abilities, and multi-generational saga of the Joestar family battling various antagonists.
The announcement of the new mobile game comes as fans eagerly await the next instalment of the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure anime series, which will cover the Steel Ball Run arc.

gumi is a Japanese mobile game developer and publisher, recognized for creating various strategy RPGs and other mobile titles.
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Oraora Overdrive is a simulation RPG that draws from the world of the anime, allowing players to form teams with familiar characters from the series.

The game aims to offer immersive battles, featuring high-end graphics for special moves and abilities.

An auto-battle function is included, designed to make the game accessible for all players.

The game also features a story mode where players can relive events from the anime series, along with an encyclopedia function for collecting characters and their Stands.
As part of the pre-registration campaign, players can earn various rewards based on the number of total registrants.
Upon reaching 300,000 pre-registrations, all players will receive the Ultra Rare character “Dio Brando [Emperor of Evil]”.

Additional rewards are planned for milestones beyond 300,000.
A promotional video showcasing action elements and gameplay systems has been released, featuring iconic lines and dynamic visuals from the series:
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Oraora Overdrive is set to be released for iOS and Android platforms in autumn 2025.
The game will be free-to-play with in-app purchases.
