Pre-registration starts for new FAIRY TAIL anime mobile game

A new smartphone game based on the popular anime series FAIRY TAIL, titled FAIRY TAIL Wizard Chronicle, has been announced.
The new title is being developed and operated by GOODROID, a subsidiary of CyberAgent.

FAIRY TAIL, based on the manga by Hiro Mashima, is a globally popular franchise known for its stories of friendship and epic magical battles.
This new game aims to bring the charm of the long-running series to mobile devices.

The title is described as a “hybrid casual game,” a genre designed to be easily accessible for a wide range of players.
It will be a free-to-play game with optional in-app purchases and is planned for a global release, with some regional exceptions.

A pre-registration campaign for the new game is now underway on both the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Players who pre-register will be notified when the game officially launches, and it will be automatically downloaded to their device within 24 hours of release.

A reward campaign is also running, where all players will receive in-game items and social media icons at launch, with the quality of the rewards increasing based on the total number of people who pre-register.

Over 80 playable characters from the FAIRY TAIL series are due to appear in the game, which promises to allow players to train wizards and create their own team to challenge powerful enemies.

Various mini-games will be available to play, and famous scenes from the manga and anime series will also feature throughout the game’s story.

FAIRY TAIL Wizard Chronicle is scheduled to be released in the winter of 2025.
Pre-registration for the new game began on Tuesday, the 5th of August, and the game will be available on both iOS/Android.
