Pre-orders open for re-release of the HG 1/144 GM Spartan model kit

A new wave of pre-orders has opened for an exclusive Gunpla kit of the “HG 1/144 GM Spartan.”
The GM Spartan is a “phantom unit” from a 1989 design series called “Fukuchi Mobile Suit Station,” which was published in the “Monthly Bandai Making Journal.”

In the lore, it is a special variant of the RGM-79 GM, designed for jungle and subtropical environments and deployed with the Earth Federation’s Armored Marine Divisions.

This High Grade (HG) 1/144 scale model kit faithfully recreates the mobile suit’s realistic and detail-rich design.

The unit’s distinctive, moss-green color scheme, which is designed to increase its concealment rate in jungle environments, is reproduced with molded plastic parts.

The kit comes with the GM Spartan’s full range of characteristic weaponry, including a minigun and a heat knife.

A mounting rack on the shoulder armor can hold the included WAMM (Wired Anti-MS Missiles) and a beam saber.

The backpack is equipped with a Minovsky particle dispersal unit, which can be deployed via a pull-out gimmick.

A new sheet of marking seals is also included with the kit to replicate the unit’s various identification numbers and emblems.

The “HG 1/144 GM Spartan” is a Premium Bandai exclusive and the restock for the sought-after model kit began earlier on the 5th of August, on the Premium Bandai online store.
