Pre-orders open for new statue of Orochi Shermie from THE KING OF FIGHTERS ’97

Kotobukiya has opened pre-orders for a new scale figure of Shermie from the classic fighting game “The King of Fighters ’97”.
The new figure is the latest entry in the “BISHOUJO” line, a series of 1/7 scale statues that are based on original, stylized illustrations by the popular artist, Shunya Yamashita.

This latest statue is a recolor of a previous release from 2024, with the new paintwork intended to recreate the awakened, powered-up Orochi form of the popular SNK character.

The sculpt of the figure, by the artist ke (comaccow), is focused on accentuating Shermie’s tight fitting outfit.

Another change to the original 2024 release is the creation of a new diorama base, which is designed to replicate the look of an iconic stage from the original 1997 game.

This release offers a new and unique artistic interpretation of the classic fighting game character.

Pre-orders for the figure are currently open on the Kotobukiya online shop and other hobby goods retailers.

Customers who place an order before the 7th of October are guaranteed to receive the item, after which pre-orders will close once the production limit is reached.

The “Orochi Shermie SNK BISHOUJO 1/7 Scale Statue” is priced at ¥17,600 (approx. $120 USD/£88 GBP) and is scheduled to be released in April 2026.
