Berserk Inspired Batman Statue Revealed by Prime 1 Studio

Pre-orders have officially begun for a new 1/4 scale statue from Prime 1 Studio, adding a dark fantasy-inspired figure to the Ultimate Premium Masterline series.
The “Batman The Berserker Rage Mode” statue captures a unique iteration of the character from the DC Omniverse, depicting a “New Hero” who battles through a world infested with demons.

The design draws heavy visual inspiration from the “Berserker Armor” featured in the acclaimed manga series Berserk.

Berserk, created by the late Kentaro Miura, is a seminal dark fantasy tale following the mercenary Guts as he battles against fate and demonic forces known as Apostles.

The armor worn by Guts allows the wearer to fight beyond human limits by suppressing pain and is immediately recognisable to fans of the series due to its wolf-like helm and aggressively styled plates that represent the user’s inner beast and consuming rage.

Though not explicitly stated as a direct crossover between the two series, this new statue mirrors that aesthetic closely, presenting Batman in a suit of jagged, organic-looking plate mail that diverges significantly from his traditional tactical gear.

The statue’s “Rage Mode” moniker and the helmet’s shape, which resembles a snarling beast, strongly evoke the cursed armor’s influence on Guts, creating a Batman who is fighting to retain his sanity against the darkness.

It stands approximately 82cm tall, though this height can reach up to 95cm depending on which weapon is equipped.
A colossal battle axe, named the “Judgment of Faith,” is included, which is described as a weapon “formed from the fusion of four separate armaments”.

The armor is designed to evoke a sinister atmosphere, while the cape features dynamic sculpting with bats emerging from the folds to create a dramatic silhouette.
The base depicts a monstrous, demonized version of Bane being trampled underfoot, an appearance that closely resembles the grotesque Apostles found in the Berserk universe.

The release offers extensive customization options, including the ability to display the character with four different pre-fusion weapons:
- Death Bringer Sword

- Spear of Justice

- Phantom Axe

- Demon Slayer (styled after Guts’ Dragon Slayer sword from Berserk)

Two different face plates are included as standard, one which shows Batman’s lower face and another representing the armor’s “Final Form,” equipped with LED red eyes that express his all consuming rage.

The Deluxe Bonus Edition also includes a swappable head part, which allows the statue to be displayed with a full-face steel helmet.

The “Batman The Berserker Rage Mode DX Bonus Version” is priced at 362,890 JPY (approx. $2,460 USD / £1,940 GBP) and it is set for release in Japan between May and August 2027.

It will be available via the official Prime 1 Studio online store, as well as other hobby goods retailers, such as HobbyLink Japan, for the standard edition.
