Pre-orders open for new Kson figure amidst VShojo controversy

Japanese prize and figure manufacturer Taito is now accepting pre-orders for a new figure of the popular VTuber, Kson.
Kson is a prominent bilingual creator, active as a VTuber, who has cultivated a large international following with her “delinquent”-style persona.

This new figure was developed while she was still a member of the VTuber agency VShojo and as such still has the agency’s name attached to the product.

However, Kson, along with nearly all other members, announced her departure from the agency earlier this week amid a major controversy, making the timing of this VShojo-branded release notable.

Due to the long lead times in the figure production industry, this item was likely planned and approved long before the recent events unfolded.

The “VShojo Kson DRESSTA Figure” itself is based on Kson’s swimsuit VTuber model.

It depicts her in a playful, dynamic pose, holding a water gun and sticking her tongue out in a provocative expression that captures her mischievous personality.

The figure includes a special base made of clear parts, sculpted to look like splashing water, creating the impression that she is running along a beachy seafront in summer.

Priced at ¥8,800 (approx. $59 USD/£44 GBP), pre-orders for the “VShojo Kson DRESSTA Figure” are currently open via Taito’s official website, with the reservation window remaining open until the 17th of August.

The figure is currently scheduled to be shipped to customers in December 2025, provided there are no delays, which may be possible in light of recent events.
