Pre-orders open for new HG Gundam Sandrock Custom Gunpla kit

Orders have officially opened for a new High Grade model kit from the popular Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz OVA series.
The new “HG 1/144 Gundam Sandrock Custom EW” is based on the upgraded mobile suit piloted by Quatre Raberba Winner.

This release utilizes a newly developed W-series internal frame, which uses the latest format engineering to ensure both detailed articulation and the ability to recreate dynamic poses from the anime.
The shoulder range is specifically designed to be wide, allowing for dramatic poses with the suit’s signature twin blades.

The kit includes two Heat Shotels, which come with clear parts to replicate their “red-hot” heated state.
A standout feature of this kit is the “Anti-Beam Coating Cloak.”

This accessory is made from a new soft material, allowing the figure to be posed naturally even while wearing the heavy defensive gear.
Here is the full list of accessories:
- Anti-Beam Coating Cloak set
- Armor parts for cloak attachment
- Heat Shotel x2
- Heat Shotel (Heated State) reproduction parts x2
- Hand parts set
- Sticker sheet

This is another major addition to the recent wave of Gundam Wing merchandise announced by Bandai Spirits.

It follows the massive reveal at Tamashii Nation 2025, where they unveiled the entire team of five Gundams in the premium G.F.F.M.C. line, including a “Cloaked Custom” version of the Gundam Sandrock Custom.

The “HG 1/144 Gundam Sandrock Custom EW” is priced at 4,180 yen (approx. $27.15 USD / £21.50 GBP).
Pre-orders began sequentially on November 19, via major online retailers and hobby shops, and the kit is scheduled to release in June 2026.
