Pre-orders open for new figure of Giovanna from Guilty Gear -Strive-
Union Creative has opened pre-orders for a new, large-scale figure of Giovanna from the fighting game Guilty Gear -Strive-.
Guilty Gear -Strive- is the latest installment in the long-running fighting game series from developer Arc System Works, known for its high-fidelity 2D/3D hybrid graphics and complex, stylish characters.
Giovanna is a special security officer tasked with protecting the President of the United States in the game’s universe.
Her fighting style is defined by her incredible speed and power, which she achieves by allowing her spirit wolf companion, named Rei, to possess her during battle.
The new figure from Union Creative is a non-articulated, static-pose statue that faithfully recreates the character’s official standing portrait from the game.
The sculpt captures Giovanna’s cool and confident demeanor, including her sharp gaze and bob haircut.
It also meticulously details her spirit wolf Rei, with careful attention paid to the overlapping layers of its fur and its fluid, ethereal form.
The combined piece is impressively large, standing at approximately 33 centimetres, or nearly 13 inches, tall, including the height of Rei.
Union Creative is offering a special introductory price for customers who order quickly.
While the standard price for the figure is 31,900 yen, those who place a pre-order before 12:00 PM Japan Standard Time on the 24th of July can purchase it for the discounted price of 29,000 yen via the Union Creative online store.
The general pre-order period will remain open until 11:59 PM on the 22nd of August and the figure is scheduled to be released in December 2025.
