Pre-orders are officially open for the new MDLX Lost Light Rodimus Prime action figure
Collectible figure company threezero has opened pre-orders for a new “MDLX” action figure of Rodimus Prime, based on his appearance in the comic book series “Transformers: Lost Light”.
The MDLX series is a line of smaller-scale, non-transforming figures that are known for their high degree of articulation and the use of a die-cast metal frame, which provides a sturdy and premium feel.
This new figure recreates the distinctive blue and purple color scheme that Rodimus Prime sports in the Lost Light comic book.
It is a completely new sculpt from a previously released standard version, featuring a new head, chest, and shoulder parts to faithfully match his comic book appearance.
The non-transforming figure stands at approximately 18 centimeters tall and features an impressive 46 points of articulation, allowing for a wide range of dynamic poses.
The figure is finished with a precise and detailed paint application, which includes a weathered effect.
Its two included weapons, a laser blaster and a blaster rifle, can be combined to form a larger “Photon Eliminator Rifle.”
An extensive set of interchangeable hands is also included with the figure.
The eight different types of hands are:
- A pair of open hands
- A pair of fists
- A pair of hands for holding the laser blaster
- A pair of hands for holding the blaster rifle
- A “thumbs-up” left hand
- A pointing left hand
- A hand for a shaking pose
- A special right hand for a shaking pose with the separate MDLX Optimus Prime figure
The “MDLX Lost Light Rodimus Prime” is a limited-quantity item and is being sold in Japan through Good Smile Company, priced at ¥17,600 ($120 USD/£88 GBP).
Pre-orders for the figure began on Tuesday, the 19th of August, and will run until the 24th of September, 2025, via the official Good Smile Company store.
