Popular Figure of Gundam Wing’s Tallgeese II Returns for the First Time Since 2023
The elegant mobile suit piloted by the leader of the OZ organization is returning to the high-quality METAL ROBOT Spirits figure line.
The METAL ROBOT Spirits <SIDE MS> Tallgeese II has been confirmed for a re-release, offering collectors another opportunity to acquire the detailed representation of Treize Khushrenada’s final machine.
Mobile Suit Gundam Wing remains a pivotal entry in the Gundam franchise, particularly noted for being the series that successfully introduced the brand to a massive international audience in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
While the story focuses on five teenage pilots fighting for the independence of the space colonies, the story is equally driven by its charismatic antagonists, most notably Treize Khushrenada.
The Tallgeese II appears in the final stages of the conflict, assembled from spare parts of the original Tallgeese prototype to serve as Treize’s personal machine during the Eve Wars.
Distinguished by its blue crest and regal faceplate, the suit symbolizes Treize’s philosophy of chivalry and his desire to bring an end to the era of mobile dolls by fighting on the front lines himself.
This figure release captures the “Knight” aesthetic of the mobile suit through the METAL ROBOT Spirits line, which utilizes a combination of die-cast metal and high-quality plastics.
The model is designed with a high ratio of die-cast parts in the frame and joints, providing a sense of weight that exceeds its compact 14 cm height while ensuring stability during display.
Visually, the figure employs a sophisticated color scheme that blends matte and metallic finishes to differentiate textures, enhanced by original markings printed across the armor to increase mechanical realism.
To ensure the figure can recreate dynamic scenes, the joints feature a multi-layered articulation structure.
A pull-out mechanism in the ankles secures stability and allows for a wide range of grounded poses, while the connecting arms for the backpack are designed with multiple points of movement to prevent interference with the shield and verniers.
In terms of gimmicks, the figure includes original features such as deployable side and rear skirts, which add to the range of motion.
The iconic Dober Gun features a barrel extension mechanism that allows for the reproduction of firing scenes without parts replacement, and the set also includes a beam saber, a shield, and a variety of interchangeable hand parts.
Notably, the figure includes a Beam Trident effect part designed for the Altron Gundam, enabling collectors to recreate the dramatic final duel between Treize and Wufei.
The METAL ROBOT Spirits <SIDE MS> Tallgeese II is priced at 18,150 yen (approx. $123.00 USD / £97.00 GBP).
It has been announced that the figure will be available for purchase via a lottery sale on Premium Bandai.
The application period opened on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 10:00 AM and will run until Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 11:00 PM.
Winners are scheduled to be announced on Monday, February 9, 2026, and Tuesday, February 10, 2026.
