Pom Pom Purin collab sees dog butt desserts go on sale

It’s the sixth consecutive year of collaborations between Pastel and Pom Pom Purin!

Pastel is a Japanese confectionery company famous for its “Smooth Pudding” dessert which sparked a pudding craze back in 1984.

From March 1st, Pastel stores across Japan will be overflowing with limited-edition treats celebrating Pom Pom Purin’s charm and his upcoming birthday on April 16th.

This year’s theme is “WE LOVE “PURIN” and will see not just Pom Pom Purin being featured on the packaging and sweets but his entire crew, the Chimupuri (or Team Purin) as well.

The star of the show is undoubtedly the “Purin Purin Pudding ~ Pom Pom Purin’s Butt ~” dessert.

This sees Pastel’s signature smooth pudding topped with a sweet milk pudding, creating a mix of textures and a wobbly, jiggly tribute to Pom Pom Purin’s most endearing feature – his butt.

For the first time, Pastel is also offering a special set that includes the “Purin Purin Pudding” along with an exclusive collaboration spoon.

This reusable bag and spoon set is not only practical but also a perfect way to show off your Pom Pom Purin love in your daily life.

With a total of nine different products, this year’s Pastel x Pom Pom Purin collaboration is the biggest yet.

Pastel have confirmed pricing for the items and that they will be available until April 30th.
