PokéPark Kanto Reveals Exclusive Snorlax Popcorn Bucket

Yomiuri Land has released new information regarding the culinary offerings at its upcoming permanent facility, “PokéPark Kanto.”
The announcement focuses on a staple of amusement park food, revealing that a special “Snorlax Popcorn” will be sold within the grounds.

This news comes just weeks before the facility is scheduled to officially open its doors to the public, marking the first permanent outdoor Pokémon theme park of its kind.
The snack features the Sleeping Pokémon, Snorlax (known as Kabigon in Japan), a fitting mascot given the character’s gluttonous nature and tendency to block paths in the original Game Boy games while waiting for food.

The popcorn will be available in two different flavors: a savory Barbecue option and a sweet Milk Caramel variation.

To enhance the collectible nature of the food item, the park will offer a special set that includes a “Popcorn Bucket” featuring a three-dimensional design of Snorlax.

Collectible popcorn buckets are often hugely popular and sell out quickly, so those looking to pick up the new Snorlax Popcorn Bucket will need to get to the park early in the day to avoid missing out.
The park itself is located within the Tama Hills area of Tokyo and is divided into two main zones, the nature-focused “Pokémon Forest” and the bustling “Sedge Town.”

Visitors will be able to enjoy these snacks while exploring the lush environment which houses over 600 species of Pokémon in their natural habitats.

The Snorlax Popcorn, and collectible popcorn bucket, are exclusive products that can only be purchased by those lucky enough to visit the park.
It will be available for purchase starting on the park’s grand opening date of February 5, 2026.
