Pokémon Fully Reveals Its New Pikachu 30th Anniversary TCG Figure Collection
Image by Charlotte DavisPokémon has fully revealed its upcoming 30th anniversary Pikachu figure collection, finally showing the complete 13-design lineup just days before it goes on sale.
The “Dream Painting 30th Anniversary Pikachu Figure Set” was first announced in August as the fourth entry in Pokémon’s Dream Painting collectible figure series, turning artwork from the Pokémon TCG into three-dimensional display pieces.
At the time, only eight of the 12 standard Pikachu figures had been shown, with four regular designs and the much rarer secret figure deliberately being kept hidden until closer to launch.
New product images now reveal all 12 standard figures together for the first time, completing a lineup built around dramatically different interpretations of Pikachu created by multiple Pokémon TCG illustrators.
The collection, which is based on the Simplified Chinese version of the TCG, is tied directly to the Pokémon TCG: 30th Anniversary Celebration set, which features 30 different Pikachu illustrations created to celebrate three decades since Pokémon first launched in 1996.
Each Dream Painting Pikachu figure recreates the pose, expression, and surrounding details from its corresponding card in three dimensions.
The complete lineup ranges from energetic standing poses to much more relaxed designs showing Pikachu sleeping, running, sitting, and interacting with objects taken directly from the original card artwork.
Every figure is designed to be displayed alongside the card that inspired it, with each randomly packed box including a matching foil Pikachu card and a display stand capable of presenting the two-dimensional artwork behind its three-dimensional recreation.
The biggest part of the new reveal is the previously hidden thirteenth figure, which takes the collection all the way back to the beginning of the Pokémon Trading Card Game.
The secret design recreates the classic Pikachu illustration by Mitsuhiro Arita from Pokémon’s original 1996 card set, transforming the famously round early interpretation of Pikachu into a physical figure.
Its corresponding card is the 30th Anniversary Celebration reprint numbered 136/103, which preserves the original-style card layout and artwork while adding the special anniversary treatment used across the expansion.
That makes the secret release different from the 12 standard figures, which are based on Pikachu artwork created for the new anniversary set, while the hidden design instead celebrates one of the character’s earliest appearances in the Pokémon TCG.
It is also considerably harder to obtain, with Pokémon confirming a production ratio of 143 standard figures for every one secret figure, while each of the 12 regular designs is produced in equal quantities.
The figure itself is only part of each blind box, as every set also contains one six-card booster pack from the Simplified Chinese “30th Anniversary Celebration” expansion alongside the matching foil Pikachu card.
The Pikachu assortment continues the concept used by the recent “Eevee & Evolutions Dream Painting Collection,” which transformed Eevee and all eight of its evolutions into figures based directly on Pokémon TCG illustrations and included a separate sleeping Eevee as its secret design.
The Dream Painting concept is also being used for another major 30th anniversary release, with a separate Charizard Figure Gift Box recreating Mitsuhiro Arita’s famous original Charizard card artwork as a much larger three-dimensional display piece.

The “Dream Painting 30th Anniversary Pikachu Figure Set” will be released exclusively in China on September 16, 2026, with each randomly packed box priced at RMB 88 (approximately $13 / £10).
