Pokémon Center Unveils New “Timeless Adventure” 30th Anniversary Stationery Collection
The official Pokémon Center has announced a new line of stationery and snacks celebrating the historic 30th anniversary of the franchise.
This new “Pokémon Timeless Adventure” collection features exclusive artwork based on the anniversary theme of new beginnings, capturing the magic of setting off on a journey for the very first time.
Three decades ago, the launch of Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green in Japan introduced players to the Kanto region and the difficult choice of selecting their very first partner: Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle.
Armed with a high-tech encyclopedia known as a Pokédex, Trainers were tasked by Professor Oak to travel the world and document every Pocket Monster they could find.
The original artwork created for this merchandise line directly taps into that nostalgia, showing Pikachu alongside the three classic Kanto starters.
The group is peering curiously at a Pokédex device resting on the floor of a laboratory, perfectly encapsulating the feeling of an exciting adventure about to unfold.
The release also features a special collaboration with the premium notebook brand Moleskine.
Moleskine is a highly respected manufacturer known for producing high-quality notebooks utilized by creative professionals around the globe.
The Pokémon Center has also revealed two new lines of adorable plush mascots for the series 30th anniversary.
The “Pikachu of Beginnings” line offers fans a pixelated take on the franchise mascot, perfectly recreating its appearance from the original Game Boy games in a soft toy format.
The “Pika Pika! Pikachu” collection includes two exclusive plushies that have been created exclusively for the series’ 30th-anniversary, allowing fans to own a piece of history by picking up an item that will only be available for a limited time.
