Pizza Hut Launches Margherita Flavor Yakisoba in Japan
Pizza Hut Japan and Myojo Foods have announced a unique collaboration product that bridges the gap between Italian pizza and Japanese fried noodles.
The new “Myojo Pizza Hut Supervised Pizza Hut Margherita Flavor Yakisoba” is designed to recreate the taste of Pizza Hut’s most popular menu item, the “Pizza Hut Margherita,” in a cup yakisoba format.
Developed under the strict supervision of Pizza Hut, the yakisoba aims to capture the essence of the original pizza’s key components: the “hand-tossed” dough, the rich tomato sauce preferred by Japanese palates, and the blend of cheeses known for their aroma and melt-in-the-mouth quality.
The noodle dish features thick, satisfying noodles that hold the sauce well.
The flavoring consists of a tomato paste base enhanced with roasted onion, basil, oregano, and a special oil infused with garlic and cheese scents to simulate the aroma of a freshly baked pizza.
To complete the experience, the product includes a special “Basil Source” packet containing basil paste and garlic powder, as well as a garnish packet with powdered cheese, tomato flakes, and parsley.
The lid of the cup noodles features a coupon that offers a 200 yen discount on Pizza Hut orders of 1,800 yen or more when ordered through the official website or app, valid until July 31, 2026.
To celebrate this first-ever collaboration, Pizza Hut stores are offering a special “Pizza and Yakisoba Both Margherita Set.”
This limited-time bundle includes one M-size “Pizza Hut Margherita” and one serving of the new cup yakisoba for a special price of 1,400 yen for takeout or 1,960 yen for delivery.
In addition to the product launch, a social media campaign will begin on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, offering fans a chance to win prizes.
By following the official accounts of both companies on X or Instagram and engaging with the campaign posts, 20 winners will receive a “Myojo Foods Selection Assortment.”
A simultaneous campaign on X will also award 20 winners with a 1,000 yen Pizza Hut Online Gift certificate.
The Myojo Pizza Hut Supervised Pizza Hut Margherita Flavor Yakisoba is priced at 328 yen (approx. $2.20 USD / £1.75 GBP) excluding tax.
The product went on sale today, Monday, January 26, 2026, at Pizza Hut locations and convenience stores across Japan.
