Palworld Mobile officially announced for 2026 release
In a major new announcement, KRAFTON, Inc., the publisher behind the global hit PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, has revealed that it is developing and publishing Palworld Mobile.
The new title is being created in partnership with the original Palworld developer, Pocketpair, who has granted KRAFTON the IP license for the mobile expansion.
The development of the new mobile title is being handled by KRAFTON’s internal creative studio, PUBG STUDIOS.
Palworld Mobile is set to inherit the core gameplay elements that made the original PC version a massive success, including Pal collection and raising, open-world survival, and crafting.
The new version will be optimized for a mobile environment with intuitive controls and will also introduce new “strategic battle” experiences that utilize the Pals’ various skills.
The original Palworld, developed by Pocketpair, launched into early access on Steam in January 2024 and became an instant global phenomenon, attracting a cumulative total of over 32 million players worldwide.
The game is currently in its early access period, with the developer recently announcing a new, free Halloween-themed update (v0.6.8) for the PC and console versions.
That update, scheduled for release on October 23rd, will feature a new costume for the boss Zoe and a mysterious “Depresso kigurumi.”
This is one of several “surprises” planned for 2025, ahead of the full “Version 1.0” launch of the game in 2026.
KRAFTON will debut Palworld Mobile to the public for the first time at the upcoming G-STAR 2025 gaming event in Busan, Korea.
This will be the first opportunity for fans to get a hands-on, playable demo of the new game.
Palworld Mobile is being developed for a worldwide release in 2026.
The G-STAR 2025 event is scheduled to run from Thursday, November 13th, to Sunday, November 16th.
