Orders open for new Super Sonico x KonoSuba crossover figure

A new scale figure has been announced that features a crossover between the popular mascot character Super Sonico and the world of the anime series, KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World!.
The new statue is part of Kadokawa’s “KDcolle” brand of figures.

This new 1/7 scale figure is based on the “what if” concept of Super Sonico cosplaying as Megumin.

Super Sonico is a popular character who debuted as the mascot for the “NITRO SUPER SONIC” live music event, and is known as the vocalist and guitarist for the band “First Astronomical Velocity.”

Megumin is the fan-favorite arch-wizard from the KonoSuba series, who is obsessed with explosion magic.

The design is based on a new, original illustration that was drawn for this project by Super Sonico’s own original character designer, Tsuji Santa.

The sculpt of the figure is designed to be a faithful recreation of that artwork, capturing Super Sonico’s famously curvaceous proportions in Megumin’s iconic outfit.

The figure comes with a set of interchangeable expression and chest parts, which allow it to be displayed in a second, more flustered “wardrobe malfunction” pose.

Two different versions of the figure will be available for purchase, with the first being a standard version that includes the figure and its accessories.

A “KADOKAWA Special Set” is also available, which is exclusive to the Kadokawa Store, Chara-ani.com, and Ebten online shops.

This deluxe version includes an exclusive B2 tapestry featuring the original collaboration illustration.

The “Super Sonico: Megumin ver.” figure stands at approximately 24.5 centimeters tall.

The standard version is priced at ¥24,200 (approx. $165 USD/£122 GBP), while the KADOKAWA Special Set with the bonus tapestry is priced at ¥26,950 (approx. $184 USD/£135 GBP).

Pre-orders for the new figure began on Thursday, the 4th of September, at a limited number of online retailers, including the KADOKAWA official store, with the reservation window scheduled to run until the 26th of October, 2025.

The figure is scheduled to be released in March 2026.
