Orders Open for New Gundam Reconguista in G and F90 Gunpla Kits
Orders have opened for two new model kits featuring mobile suits from the legendary Mobile Suit Gundam Reconguista in G and Mobile Suit Gundam F90 series.
The HG and MG model kit releases bring these mechanical marvels to life in highly detailed assembly formats.
Mobile Suit Gundam is a monumental mecha anime franchise that began in 1979, completely revolutionizing the genre with its realistic representation of war and complex political narratives.
Unlike previous shows that focused on super robots, the Gundam series introduced the concept of real robots deployed as tactical military weapons.
The story typically focuses on the devastating conflicts between Earth and space colonies, exploring the tragic consequences of battle on the young pilots involved.
Gundam Reconguista in G takes place in the Regild Century, an era set long after the Universal Century.
Directed by Yoshiyuki Tomino, the story follows the adventures of young pilot Bellri Zenam and the mysterious G-Self mobile suit.
Mobile Suit Gundam F90 is set in Universal Century 0111 and focuses on the Formula Project, which advanced the development of miniaturized mobile suits.
The F90 A to Z PROJECT is an ambitious initiative by Bandai Spirits to create three-dimensional models of all the F90 expansion equipment.

- HG 1/144 G-Self (Atmospheric Pack & Space Pack) (Theatrical ‘G no Reconguista’ Ver.)
This High Grade set includes both the atmospheric and space equipment packs.
By exchanging the backpacks, builders can recreate an all-in-one mobile suit capable of adapting to any battlefield.
The main body of the G-Self features the updated design seen in the theatrical movie versions.
This kit is priced at 6,050 yen (approx. $40 USD / £31 GBP).
- MG 1/100 Mission Pack X Type for F90IIIY Cluster Gundam
This special expansion part is designed to be compatible with the Cluster Gundam, the third F90 unit equipped with a core block system.
In addition to combining with the mobile suit, the parts feature a transformation mechanism to recreate the flight form known as the X Fortress.
The arm hardpoints can be equipped with the Zenobia composite weapon unit, which combines a double beam cannon and a beam shield generator.
The back booster section incorporates a four-engine deflection thruster with built-in large propellant tanks.
This expansion pack is priced at 3,850 yen (approx. $25 USD / £20 GBP).
These model kits are available to order exclusively through the official Premium Bandai online store, and pre-orders officially opened on Friday, February 20, 2026.
Shipping for the Mission Pack X Type is scheduled to take place in May 2026, whilst shipping for the G-Self kit is planned to follow in June 2026.
