Orders open for new figure of Yu-Gi-Oh!’s legendary swordsman Buster Blader

Pre-orders have officially opened for a dynamic new figure of an iconic monster from Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters.
The legendary swordsman Buster Blader is the latest entry in Kotobukiya’s recently launched “OSHI WORKS” figure series, joining the previously announced figure of Blue-Eyes White Dragon in the same line.

This new line is based on the Japanese word “oshi” (meaning “favorite”) and is positioned as a wallet-friendly series perfect for new and seasoned collectors, emphasizing affordability while maintaining high-quality sculpting and paintwork.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters is a classic anime series that became a global phenomenon.

Buster Blader is one of the most famous Warrior-type monsters from the original series, known as a key card in Yugi Muto’s deck and for its special ability to gain attack points based on the opponent’s Dragon-type monsters.

This new non-scale figure of Buster Blader stands approximately 23 centimeters tall and it captures the monster in a powerful, ready-for-battle pose, holding his massive, dragon-slaying sword.

The figure comes partially assembled and includes a standardized square base, which the figure connects to using magnets, making it easy to display.

This release complements the recently announced Mai Valentine “OSHI WORKS” figure, allowing fans to build a collection from the new series.

The “Buster Blader OSHI WORKS” figure is priced at 9,350 yen (approx. $60.74 USD / £46.18 GBP).

Pre-orders are now open directly via Kotobukiya and their official international retail partners, such as HobbyLink Japan.
The figure is scheduled to be released in June 2026.
