Orders open for Final Fantasy IX’s official 25th anniversary eyewear range

Eyewear brand Zoff has revealed the designs and opened orders for their new collection that commemorates the 25th anniversary of the classic role-playing game Final Fantasy IX.

Originally released for the Sony PlayStation, the game is known for its return to the series’ high-fantasy roots and its focus on character-driven storytelling.

The collaboration features three unique eyewear models inspired by the game’s world and its characters.

A model based on the game’s main protagonist, Zidane Tribal, incorporates the green of his vest into the temple arms of the frame.

The design features small metal parts near the hinge that are modeled after Zidane’s iconic daggers, his tail, and the ribbon from his attire.

Another model is themed after the black mage Vivi Ornitier, with his glowing eyes represented on the front of the frames.
