A massive new official art and setting material book collection has been announced to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the popular anime series, Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans.
The new book is a comprehensive, three-volume set titled, “-The World of IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS-.”

This definitive collection is a complete archive of the series’ production materials.

The three volumes consist of a Mecha Setting Material Book, a Character Setting Material Book, and an Art Book of previously released promotional illustrations.

The scope of the collection is extensive, covering not only the two seasons of the main television anime, but also a variety of its spin-off and side-story projects.

These include the mobile game Urdr-Hunt, the side-story manga Gekkō, and the “Mobile Suit Variation” or MSV design series.
The anniversary collection is also packed with a wealth of brand-new, exclusive content.

The three-volume set comes in a special storage box that features a new, original illustration by the series’ original character concept artist, Ito Yu.
The art book volume also includes a new, original fold-out pin-up poster by the mecha designer, Naohiro Washio.

Additionally, the books will contain a series of brand-new, in-depth interviews and roundtable discussions with the original creative staff.

These include a talk with the director, Tatsuyuki Nagai, and the series’ writer, Mari Okada, as well as conversations with the character designers and the various mecha designers.

Two different, retailer-exclusive pre-order bonus items are also available.
The A-on STORE is offering a mini “shikishi” art board that features the new box art, while the SUNRISE Store is offering a B2 poster of the new pin-up art.
